21% of home defeat while managing for less than 10% in PL.

Moyes would have been way worse based on his time here.
Not that Moyes should ever be any benchmark at a club like United.

Not sure how Jose managed that with the squad he had. Not bad sir. Not bad.

Jose's home record was very impressive - 8.7%.
Fergie is just on a different planet - 8.4%

For a man who can’t go a single press conference after a home game without mentioning ‘the Stretford End sucking the ball in’, this is an utterly atrocious record. He’s truly one of the luckiest managers in the world. Covid saved him big time as empty stadiums would have played a massive part in our away unbeaten record, and it’s not like opponents benefited from likewise at OT, considering we still can’t win here. Without it, he’d have been long gone.

Either way, losing less than 10% of home games like Fergie and Mourinho should be the bare minimum, with 5 in 38 under LvG a decent figure as well. 21% from managing 55 games only is plain embarrassing.

He has already lost close to half the number of home games Fergie had lost in 405 games, but some deluded people actually thought he'll somehow turn into a new Fergie after 5 years or something.

He's as good as Moyes when it comes to breaking the anti-records.

Fergie really incredible once you start to think about him rebuilding teams constantly.

LVG’s first home Game was a loss! After that he was under 11%. I remember that awful Norwich one, otherwise genuinely struggling to remember.Beat Spurs and Liverpool both seasons, 2 draws with Chelsea, win and draw vs city and Arsenal.

oh we lost to Southampton and WBA the first season. I’m blanking on the 5th
We lost to Southampton both seasons :(

Say what youw want but Jose was very hard to beat in Old Trafford. But his downfall is we got tons of draws there. Ole and Moyes record is the worst out of them

Yes I can hear you Clem Fandango!
Do any stats exist for all time records or do we have to accept that football started in 1992?

It would be interesting to see how OGS fares against O'Farrell or Sexton.

Sir Alex really was amazing. 405 wins and only 34 defeats.

It's honestly crazy that a quarter of our home games under Ole has ended in a loss. Yet he still won't get sacked.

Bet his away record must be amazing. Confusing times.
His entire away record came at a time when there were no fans in stadiums. You can't compare that to our other managers, or even Ole himself this season, who played in away stadiums full of opposing fans.

If that were true then every other team would have done the same.

He deserves credit for that run, just like he deserves blame for the terrible form we're in now.

Still though. Credit where it's due. Being unbeaten in a long while away.

Ferguson! 8% of 405 home games! Insane. Amazing to have witnessed.

Sure but what they won't tell you is that 79% didn't
Think you missed the message here mate. 21% of all Premiere League losses at Old Trafford by MUFC have come during Ole's tenure. Let me know if still unclear.

4 under Jose? That was 2x vs City, 3-0 against Tottenham and which one is 4th?

Edit: found it, West Brom in April 2018.

Well done to Pep, beating Jose both times at OT in the Premier League while almost no one could do it even once.

Posted in another thread but Solskjaer's home record in league is just over 1.7 points per game. That's abysmal. Very little difference between with fans and without fans either.

Don’t suppose you could be arsed to do the same for away results? Presumably Ole stacks up a bit better in that table?

It’s actually completely bizarre for us to consistently be better on the road. Makes no sense. Anyone got any theories about why conventional form has been flipped on its head under Ole?

This is true but you could argue that this also contributed to his home record being so poor
