It's a great achievement really!
One that the club and we fans can be very proud of. In the era of plastic clubs this is very refreshing.
I only wish we were playing more academy players and buy less foreign crap like Antony, Lindelof and Martial.
Should have went full rebuild mode years ago.

Difficult to evaluate the 250 figure unless we are able to compare with other big clubs…no idea where we’d find out such information though.
For some reason I though that number would have been higher. Not sure why exactly, just doesn't seem like a huge amount absent the context from other clubs records.

I have done the stats for the PL and we have used more youth players than any other club…the current ratio is 51% bought players and 49% juniors.

Who’s Mellor? I don’t remember him.
D'Mani Mellor. Played 25 minutes in the game at Astana under Ole. Now at Wycombe although he was loaned to Sutton and then Rochdale this season.
Lots of players I remember from the academy but forgot that they ever got a game for us.
And didn't Culkin have the record for the shortest appearance at one stage ? As I recall - v.d Gouw injured himself deep into injury time against Arsenal - and Culkin came on, took the freekick and the game was over
