The FA Cup is open to all clubs that are level 10 or higher in the English football pyramid.
The European Cup with an FA Cup format would be open to ALL CHAMPIONS past and present of any PROFESSIONAL league in Europe.
To be eligible for the Champions League you must win the European Cup and to be eligible for the European Cup you must be a Professional Champion.
The winner of this European Cup is promoted to the 6 team Champions League, replacing the team that finishes bottom.
The inaugural 6 team Champions League would be Real Madrid, AC Milan, Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Barcelona and Ajax. (Merit based and so fair).
The 6 team Champions League would provide the BIG TEAM vs BIG TEAM each and every week and the small size of the league means you can be challenging for the title one week, have a bad run and be facing relegation and vice versa.
The FA Cup format European Cup would help grass roots football around Europe MASSIVELY in the same way a good FA Cup run can help a non league team.
