Adidas - why are they not releasing old school United kits?

This is probably not the biggest issue facing the fans right now but it's really annoying to see Adidas re-releasing quality 90s kits for Arsenal yet again but not doing the same for us.

It seems like a massively missed opportunity - I know they re-released the blue away kit from 90-92 but there are so many kits they could re-release - unless they have and I've been looking for retro Adidas United kits in all the wrong places?

Do a rerelease of the Newton Heath throwback worn in the mid-90s!
Can they? I mean it was made by Umbro originally so does that make it possible?

Part of me thinks they can only do Adidas ones but I might be wrong.

Ah, probably not then. Wonder if Umbro (or Nike/IBG) could? No clue on historic kit rights if such a thing exists.

They’ve done a couple. The 83-84 home jersey was one a few years back. Last year they released a 1990-92 away replica.
