I've made us top by the end of the season on a score predictor site... We steal it on the last day

Always interesting to see it like this, it's useful to understand the gaps.

United are 7 points better off than at the same number of games last season. On track for 77/78 points this season as it stands.

I'm sure I saw that we were 9 better off, which seems bizarre given how bad we were... When I look back we did seem to stay in touch for top 4 then near the end fell away.

Funny thing is this is our best points tally at this stage since Sir Alex retired other than 17/18 under Jose when we had 52.

Think our 24th game was a 1-1 draw with Soton last year which put us on 40 points.

That Mou side was very solid, we were 4 goals FC for a bit that year but City were just another level, they were played 18, won 17, drawn 1 and then we got 3/9 points against Soton, Burnley, Leicester and killed any faint hope of clawing them back in.

As long as you can stomach the chore of the constant edit, as well as the insults from half the board for giving them something for free at the correct time every week.
