This is quite tragic, ever so young.

He was an absolutely brilliant footballer. Both footed, tough, classy, and when in attacking situations, quite devastating. One my favourite players when I was just beginning to understand the game. Awesome. Watch the famous Germany vs Holland match Italia 90'.. a real (real) heavyweight clash, Rudi Voellor and Frank Rijkaard had a horrible (but memorable moment..). But watch the winning goal and the German celebration. That German team were unreal. Powerhouse of a team.

RIP Andreas Brehme

Sad news; RIP.
He was a great player for Germany and was 'hated' because of his passion and success; but that was just on the pitch. Very young and must be devastating for his family and friends.

Amazing player. That Germany Holland game in Italia 90 was tasty as Brehme Matthaus and Klinsmann playd for Inter and Gullit Van Basten and Rijkaard played for AC Milan.

One of the best left backs in football history. Amazing tactical knowledge, if the manager played him in the midfield or as CB he would succeed as well.
