Anthony Elanga

Chuffed with this, hopefully he'll do better than the last swede to win it..

Can he play on the right wing as an option if we don't get Sancho this season or does he only play from left?

Expecting big season from him. Basically needs to carry that whole U23s attack and possibly some odd 1st team game times as well if we don't sign any winger.

Makes Dan James look slow... and even shitter. Looked a threat every time he had the ball. Rapid.

I think he's gonna be damn good. Think we are already quite reliant on him in this U23s team though. I think surrounded by better players in the first team he will definitely thrive. Could be a great option on the left to take some pressure off of Rashford.

Who are we supposed to be looking at in that video?
Well it's a video called Anthony Elanga v Salford City in a thread titled Anthony Elanga so I'd guess him but you're free to look at whoever you like really

Doesn't take much to excite you then

Look, I'm not saying he isn't a great prospect, he's just won the Jimmy Murphy Award, it's just that these videos are terrible, barely showcasing his talent at all. Half of the shorter one is just him winning a penalty.
Here you go

Would a loan be worthwhile this season?

Would a championship team be too big a jump for him? Maybe league one instead?

He played U/18's last season...just stepping up onto the Reserves. Let's see how he does at this level before we start suggesting he needs a loan and can start playing regularly with adults in league football.

Just looked up his dad on Wikipedia and he was born same day as me. I could take being older than United players but being old enough to be the dad of a united player is depressing

Time waits for no one my friend. I became a grandad this year, and just reminisced back to my son's first ever Utd game. It was the Crystal Palace game where Beckham scored from the 1/2 way line. That seems like yesterday

Was It the same hospital too? Maybe you got mixed up with him and your real parents are Elanga’s real Grandparents?!

Age definitely telling if you think that game was vs Crystal Palace ;)

Obviously Elange is ready for a chance in the first team in some easy game (if we have any of those), or EL. Loan is an option I guess also. Not sure what is the situation about contract as if he doesn't sign deal for 3 more years, he is free to go in 6 months

Would be fun to see Elanga on left and Amad on right with either of Shola / Mejbri at 10. Hughil upfront.

Elanga-Hannibal-Amad.
Shoretire-Galbraith

Who needs defense.

Seems to get forgotten about a bit when people talk about United youth players.

We’ve got a lot of cracking prospects, I think we’ll see a lot of the older squad players moved on this summer and try to integrate some of the younger lads.
