I searched for a thread before posting and only found a locked thread from a couple years ago.

Doesn’t matter what connections we’ve got, what we need is cold hard cash and we certainly don’t have that. Unless Vivell can convince Leipzig to sell him for a fraction of the price then this is a non starter.

80m euros apparently is his price. I think we have more cash than is being made out

He has agreed terms with Arsenal so I don’t see this happening

Has he?

I haven't seen anything that indicates this, the only thing I've seen is negotiations are underway, but nothing agreed as of yesterday:

Based on where we are as clubs it actually makes more sense for us to get Sesko and Arsenal to get Gyokeres. But this is probably why we both stay Banter FC

Not it doesn't. Sesko is north of £80M, Gyokeres is £55M.

I was talking about the players.. either way Sesko will probably be a lot cheaper in wages than Gyokeres so it all balances out anyway. Im sure the final fee will be incentivised.

Arteta is quite stubborn. He will bid big for the player he really wants. He did bid £88m for Mudryk back in 2023 but still got rejected.

I don't think Arteta makes the decison when it comes to finances, I think that's more the Sporting Director and board that will make that decision.

He's not banned, but still largely shit I think
There was a time where he had some really, really good intel about Bayern and our targets. It has been rumoured that he has a good relationship with either Neppe or Salihamidzic or both. So they most likely fed him pretty good intel for a few years. Ever since both are gone from Bayern, he is basically guessing and has no clue at all.
