You heard wrong. His scoring record isn't the best, but he was an absolutely brilliant frontman and could do anything you'd ask of a striker.

Anelka at Arsenal was world class. People tend to forget that.
I liked Drogba - I thought he helped the attack especially for someone for someone like Lampard behind him which was wonderful to watch.
Just heard by some Chelsea supporters that it was sometimes frustrating that he wasn't always great that he wasn't your out and out goal scorer even though he did so much more else. I can see that & im glad you all put me back in my place
