That's a nice balanced midfield?

Gone for young Shearer, raw but better goal ratio?
Prefer Blackburn Shearer. Proper goal machine who was deadly within 30 yards of goal. More mobile pre injury too.

Thinking is that Makelele would free up Gerrard and Silva nits it together amid all the hustle and bustle.

Not sure how many games Juninho played for Boro, but 100 games is not the best rule anyway IMO.

Not 100.

A hundred was just some arbitrary figure I plucked out late last night to avoid the 'one hit' wonders and get some players with a bit of a PL/club track record.

I'm assuming Perry/Wimbledon is Chris and not Fred?

Parker (West Ham) - Tugay (Blackburn)
Juninho (Middlesbrough) - Le Tissier (Southampton) - Ginola (Newcastle)

First time I've seen Mellberg listed ... fair shout, on his day, he was a good CH (maybe not consistent, though not playing in a decent side either.)

Surprised not more picked Ferdinand. He was superb in his QPR days...he carried the entire QPR-side for several seasons and scored 1 goal in 2
