General Rules:

1. All-time draft with Block list and restricted number of Star players(see below).
2. Initial drafting of 14 players snake style.
3. 6 hrs per pick. Do not wait or provide extra time.
4. No change in picks after posting.
5. No substitutions. Tactical changes with in-field players only.
6. Don’t be a smartass and try to break rules or find loopholes. Ask beforehand else pick WILL be disqualified.
7. I'll be pairing up managers to check each other's total/counts to ensure no mistakes.

Pool:

All 16 players have to choose one of the below leagues: . All players who have played in your chosen leagues will be the pool for the manager, subject to below criteria's.
Available Leagues: Serie A [Italy], Bundesliga [Germany], Premier Leagues [All UK leagues], La Liga [Spain], Campeonato Brasileiro Série A [Brazil], Primera División [Argentina]
  • Blocked - All time Goats
  • Tier 1- Positional Goats
  • Tier 2 - Star Players
  • Tier 3 - Reserve Players (anyone who isn't a star player)
Card Totals and Player Tiers
  • Total between 1-8: Pick a Tier 3 player born in country of your league.
  • Total between 9-16: Pick a tier 3 player who has played in your league.
  • Total between 17-20: Pick a tier 2 player born in league country and/or player for your league. Gambling permitted.
  • Blackjack (21): Pick a Tier 1 player borin in your country and/or player for your league.

Draw Rules:
  • Everyone must draw till their total is more than 16 (17 or above).
  • Once you reach 17-20, Manager would choose between whether they want to hit or stand
    • If they choose to stand, they can pick a Tier 2 Star player as per criteria. You'll move to next round and start from 1 as normal after picks.
    • If they choose to hit:
      • And they hit a blackjack, so they can get a Tier 1 pick for the round. You'll move to next round and start at 6 but will get a Tier 2 pick.
      • And get still stay below 21, they can upgrade their pick to a Tier 1 player. You'll move to next round and start from 6 making a tier 3 pick.
      • And bust over 21, they get downgraded to a Tier 3 player.
Example:

Round 1:

Player A draws 8 in first draw - Picks a Tier 3 player.
Player B draws a picture card in first draw - Picks a Tier 3 player.

Round 2:

Player A draws a picture card in second round - His total is now 18 and he he chosen to stand. He draws a Tier 2 star player and moves to next round.
Player B draws a 7 in second round - His total is 17 and he chooses to draw. No picks this time.

Round 3:

Player A draws a 5 - It's a new round for him, so he chooses a Tier 3 player.
Three scenarios for Player B
(a) He draws a 2 and stays in game - He gets to picks a Tier 1 player and starts off next round at 6 picking a Tier 3 player. Both picks must be done simultaneously.​
(b) He draws a 4 and hits blackjack - He gets to pick a Tier 1 player for Round 2 and starts off next round at 6 but still can pick a Tier 2 player. Both picks must be done simultaneously.​
(c) He draws a 8 and goes bust - He gets a Tier 3 player for Round 2 and starts off next round at 6 picking a Tier 3 player. Both picks must be done simultaneously.​

Each manager can choose his own league and that stays for entire draft. I may allow switching at reinforcements to balance the pool, but haven't decided on it.

If player has played 3 seasons in league, it's career peak. Else league peak. I won't ask for managers to specify peaks, but leave to opponents to exploit this. Will add this to OP.

A question about the leagues. Are players who played in those countries prior to the formation of the league (e.g. the Bundesliga in 1963) eligible to be picked?

@Edgar Allan Pillow how long until you sort player pools? would be cool to get them ASAP so we can research a bit for the league pick

If the predecessor was a single league at top of the countries football structure, it theoretically should be permitted. Like First Division before Premier League.

Any kind of regional structure with playoffs will not be permitted.

I guess its reversed? :D
if he has 3 or more years in succession its a league peak, if not its a career peak. Right?
