‘I absolutely got it wrong, no doubt. But I wasn’t alone in my praise for Williams.



secondly, it’s not as if he’s gotten 30 appearances and 2000 minutes this campaign and been dog shit. He’s has a grand total of 478 minutes and 12 appearances. I’ll tell you this, I wasn’t enthusiastic about the Telles signing, and he HAS been dog shit. Personally would STILL give minutes at LB to Williams over Telles.



I think to brand Williams a failure at this point is a bit early. But sure, I was definitely over enthusiastic with praise of Williams in 2019.



once again, you learn in the Caf that when you respond to a poster calling you out, 6 others will pile on. Just best to ignore I guess.

Absolutely nothing wrong with saying someone is the best prospect you've seen at a certain age. It's not like you claimed he was peak Cafu.

This current backlash because Williams hasn't been getting minutes and Shaw is playing out of his skin when at the time Williams was playing well and Shaw wasn't is a bit silly.

The truth as always will be somewhere in the middle.
