Film British Crime and Thrillers

Looking to watch some British crime and or thriller films. Any suggestions besides the usual suspects? (No pun). How's this Red Riding trilogy? Worth a punt?

How's this Red Riding trilogy? Worth a punt?

The books really capture the times well, for all the sub-Ellroy styling. The tv trilogy is good, particularly the one starring Considine and Peake.
