Take one player per Prem team and build a side to win the league this year, so durability and versatility matter. Health too, no picking De Bruyne unless you'r fine with him being out 3 months:

F: Aubameyang Salah Arnautovic
W: Sane Zaha
CM: Eriksen Kante Seri Doucoure Neves
FB: Kongolo Coleman Bertrand
CB: Maguire Tarkowski Ake Lascelles
GK: De Gea Etheridge

----Aubameyang---Salah-- (Arnautovic)
Sane--------Eriksen-------- (Zaha, Propper)
--------Kante---Seri-------- (Doucoure, Lemina)
Kongolo-------------Coleman (Jonny)
----Maguire-Lascelles----- (Tarkowski, Ake)
---------De Gea------------- (Etheridge)

-Easiest choices were Salah, Seri, Aubameyang (rough month aside he scores goals), Tarkowski, De Gea, Kongolo, Zaha, Arnautovic and Lascelles since they all seem solidly better than their teammates to me.

-Once I had those guys, I knew I needed some chance creating types to get Aubameyang and Salah their 30 goals.

-Picked Jonny because he can play LB or RB. Ake can cover LB too and for RB I guess you just throw a CB at if you're defending or tied and maybe one of the midfielders if offence is needed.

-Really wanted to pick Kane as he's better than Aubameyang in buildup but I needed Eriksen once I decided to go with Sane's youth and width over any other City player with De Bruyne out and David Silva a year older. I wouldn't be surprised if someone come up with a smart way to do it, either by playing 4-3-3 or

-CM size is a concern but Doucoure can partner Kane instead of Seri if that's ever an issue.

-Gross is a solid backup 10 but he's real slow so I went with Propper who's a decent if agricultural 10 and another passing CM if Seri goes goes down. If Eriksen is a key man in a pressing system I'd rather have Propper there than Gross replacing him.

-The top team's CBs don't seem generally that impressive apart from Van Dijk and I think Salah's extra 20 goals or so I'd put him at edge out the difference between Van Dijk and whichever one of Lascelles or Tarkowski wins the RCB job as the organizer next to Maguire.

I kinda feel like someone can make a better team with Kane, Hazard and Van Dijk instead of Eriksen, Kante and Salah, maybe a 4-3-3 like Sarri would play with Seri in the Jorginho role?

GK – David de Gea (Manchester United)
RB – Seamus Coleman (Everton)
CB – Harry Maguire (Leicester City)
CB – Nathan Aké (Bournemouth)
LB – Nacho Monreal (Arsenal)
CM – Kevin de Bruyne (Manchester City)
CM – Abdoulaye Doucouré (Watford)
AM – Eden Hazard (Chelsea)
AM – Wilfred Zaha (Crystal Palace)
AM – Mo Salah (Liverpool)
ST – Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur)

For me, Hazard, de Bruyne and Salah are automatic selections because they're the best players in the PL.

You want Kane or Aguero up front, but you can't have Aguero because of de Bruyne, so Kane is the obvious choice.

This leaves Man Utd and Arsenal as the big six clubs left over. You might as well have de Gea because he's United's best player and the best keeper in the league.

I left Arsenal until last, but there aren't a huge number of great left-backs in the division, so Monreal seems a solid selection.

Considered Ozil, but Zaha has simply been way better than him recently.

Considered Ramsey, but I think Doucouré has been better than him.

Coleman is as good a right-back as anyone in the division, so that was an easy selection from the remaining clubs.

That left centre-back, and Maguire and Aké are probably the best two young CBs in the division. The team is probably weakest at CB, but you could say that about many PL teams.

Overall, I think the goalkeeper, full-backs, midfield and attack are as strong as any you could pick.
I kinda feel like someone can make a better team with Kane, Hazard and Van Dijk instead of Eriksen, Kante and Salah, maybe a 4-3-3 like Sarri would play with Seri in the Jorginho role?
I don't see how you can play van Dijk, as you can't justify leaving Salah out.

I wouldn't like to tell him to his face, though, because I saw him in a supermarket once and he's a big b*stard.

"an agricultural ten"

Is that an actual term? If so, it's brilliant. Nice to see Pröpper is doing well by the way.

Maybe Mooy, Doucouré, Cedric and Lascelles instead of Pereyra, Lemina, Yedlin and Kongolo. Couldn't decide.

Salah-------------------Hazard
-Kane-

Bench: Aubama, Lanzini, Zaha, Lemina, Tarkowski, Mooy, Pickford
