Not really happy with this, i know he is a good backup option and all but he was very poor last season, this has been our biggest problem since SAF left, players aren't being replaced quickly enough. More concerning is the fact that carrick signing could very well mean not more than 1 mf will be bought, so we will essentially be 1 injury away from playing fellaini in the mf again.

Weird because we only have 7 players out of Fergie's last squad left.

Sensible. No need to throw all our eggs in a new players basket. He's a good option to still have.

He'll be needed. Bound to be some injury crisis at least.
