"I believe. I believe there will be more. T
So the following teams have qualified or still have a chance:

Group A: Tottenham and Inter in either order
Group B: Schalke 04 and Lyon in either order
Group C: Man United and Valencia in either order
Group D: Barcelona top and one from FC Copenhagen or Rubin Kazan
Group E: Bayern Munich top and one from Roma or Basle
Group F: Chelsea top and Marseille second
Group G: Real Madrid top and AC Milan second
Group H: Shakhtar Donetsk, Arsenal or Sporting Braga in any order

Given that UEFA's rules are that

- Teams who have already played each other cannot meet in the next round
- Teams from the same country cannot meet in the next round

who do you want? I have a funny feeling we'll get Roma, but the facht is that I'd love Inter!

YESHHHHH, We'll GOOO for it.
Making some guesses

Group A: Tottenham 1st, Inter 2nd
Group B: Schalke 04 1st, and Lyon 2nd
Group C: Man United 1st and Valencia 2nd
Group D: Barcelona 1st and Copenhagen 2nd.
Group E: Bayern Munich 1st and Roma 2nd
Group F: Chelsea 1st and Marseille 2nd
Group G: Real Madrid 1st and AC Milan 2nd
Group H: Shakhtar Donetsk 1st and Arsenal 2nd.

Inter, Lyon, Copenhagen, Roma, Marseille and AC Milan.

Copenhagen is the easiest of the lot, but that is a tough pool of teams.

I think we'll get one of the Milans.

Real vs Inter would be interesting, provided Rafa is still there.

We should be beating any of that lot if we have designs on winning the trophy. I would like Copenhagen though

Well I could be mistaken but you usually have to beat teams in the knockout stages to win the trophy anyway.

After Bayern turned us over last year, I'm of the opinion that there are no easy ties after the group stage

I've always wondered. What's the principle behind preventing teams from the same country to play against each other in the 1st round of knockout stages ?

So, any loss v Valencia and we will finish second because of their superior goal difference, right?

I wouldn't mind a trip to Schalke.

I thought it went on head to head records not goal difference? if Valencia beat us 1-0 doesn't it then go to our respective records over the next best side in the group?

Anyway we aint losing at home to Valencia. :)

Wish you'd put the draw date in your post RedRob.

Anyway, if anyone else is interested it is on the 17th Dec. Three weeks to wait to get it confirmed we've got Milan ;)
