They’re fine in terms of relegation. You’re going to need a few really bad teams to suddenly and miraculously look good for that to happen. They’ll get a result against either Bournemouth or Forest and that’ll be that for them. The magic 40 point mark and they’ll have checked out after that.

I can't believe Chelsea fans are calm about the small possibility that they could be relegated, you have bloody Frank lampard in charge of your team, good luck even getting a single win in the remaining games with him in charge
Too many teams well below them are going to play each other in the remaining weeks and it is inevitable for the teams who are actually in the relegation zone and above it to drop lots of points, which will cancel out the points lost or gained by Chelsea.

They're not going to be relegated but they need to replace Lampard with a competent caretaker coach or this humiliation will continue.

I can see Boehly walk into the dressing room at full time and just say 'feck off you fat feck and don't come back until I'm no longer chairman', then John Terry walks into the dressing room in a full training kit and says, "lads, it's not like Wayne Bridge is here, now let's get started."

SofaScore app says they bought Mudryk for £130 million. Surely that can't be right?

Isn't it hilarious how they've somehow relieved us of embarrassment this past decade. Our worst seasons are looking like good ones compared to this.

Never mind Big Sam getting a bonus if he keeps Leeds up!

Tuchel should get a bonus for keeping Chelsea in the league...without his points they would be battling for survival now.

Just like when people mocked us as the worst title defenders when Moyes finished 7th, just for Chelsea 2 years later to finish 10th after winning the title the previous year.

Chelsea are truly the gift that keeps on giving.

It’s because teams below them aren’t good enough to punish mistakes from teams above.

Chelsea just need one win and that’s with teams below them winning all their games.

Because it would literally take 3 of the 4 16th-19th teams suddenly churning out title winning form and even then there's no guarantee WHU and Wolves will do enough to get above us.

Morata. Got back like 4/5 of the fee they paid for Atletico. But Atletico, Chelsea used to have shady connection between themselves and Chinese market. Chinese market seems to no long a viable option and this is a set up at the top at Chelsea.
To be fair, Morata has played for every club.

39 is the statistically magic number to prevent relegation. They are right on it. Everyone behind has been trying their best to get there.

Granham Potter is very good at keeping clubs apart from relegation fight :wenger:

Serious though. The closer you're to 40, the tougher for teams below you to leapfrog you.

Will they get that win though?

I wonder how many of their new players will be damaged by this run. Hard to come back mentally from a slump like this
