Usually would've posted it in twitter thread but this is a big fecking move.

Opens up possibilities of Thiago and Boateng for us too.

Btw, this guy is the most reliable on Bayern. If he says something, then it's true.

Thiago and Boateng would be my picks out of that lot.

Fecking hell Thiago would be a great signing. Boateng too while we’re at it.

Are Bayern fecked financially or something? I keep hearing players for sale and no big signings this summer.

If we're in for an experienced centerback, then Boateng would be a no brainer surely? Better than Alderweireld and probably cheaper too.

De Gea
Double D - Boateng - Alderweireld - Sandro
Matic
Fred - Pogba
Alcantara
Alexis - Lukaku

We don't really want another injury prone CB do we?

Boateng with Bailly would be nice.

I think they need a bit of an overhaul. Dominant domestically but falling short in Europe. They'll make decent money off those players to reinvest and freshen up the squad.

Alright just checked his injury record. Hasn't made more than 19 league appearances in the last three seasons. Abort ship.

Thiago would be amazing.
Would he?
It seems like one of those cases where fans minds are already made up about him, he's a great player and that's that, rather than analysing why Bayern wants to let him go.
I can't remember the last time they sold a player that set the world alight elsewhere.

Kroos.

Toni fecking kroos and that too for 25m

Thiago has been terrible according to our resident Bayern fans.

Boateng hasn't played more than 19 League games and 31 overall in 3 years.

Of course. But that being a contract dispute kind of sets that out on its own maybe?
He was offered back to Barca and they wouldn't take him back so there must be something we:re not seeing.

Thiago is a pointless signing with Pogba in the team. Unless we get him for peanuts then I'm all for it.

Isn't Vidal essentially just a 31 year old alcoholic with no knees at this point?

I'd steer clear of him and go for Boateng (probably still the best around (if he's fit)) and Thiago.

I followed @fcbforever yesterday and he mentioned that Bayern fans would love to see the back of him. His attitude kind of stinks these days and is often found to be a passenger in big games. Is a bit injury prone too. He doesn't start any big games either. Bayern are getting Goretzka and are better off giving him first team opportunities rather than Thiago.

All this might be true but Thiago is still a level above whatever we have. Please Woody make it happen!

I can see how this one will go. We will beg and seize onto any scraps of links for Thiago, although from no real sources, until the press run with a story that Liverpool are trying to sign him, and we lose our shit and lambast Jose, who will simultaneously be linked to a tall player.

Thiago to replace Fellaini.
SeruSerio cannot see Mourinho getting involved.

They are overreacting. He's there to control the tempo of the game and dominate the midfield.

He is not the one to blame, Bayern usually can't finish to save their life against Madrid. On the other hand, didn't see much of Madrid midfield against Bayern.

Watch Alcantara go to City.

According to Bayern/German fans, Pep benched him continuously in the biggest games.

I'm not going to claim that I'm an expert on this player, but the one year where Guardiola had everyone available in the CL and Bayern actually looked like they would win the thing Pep benched him until extra time for the return leg against Juventus, subbed him off in Madrid and benched him entirely for the return leg. When Bayern played in Dortmund that season (in March - a victory would've put Dortmund within 3 points of Bayern, making the title race wide open) he was also benched for 90 minutes.

I don't think he rates Thiago that much as we all think.
