Nice, hadn't heard them before. Bit of a The XX buzz off that track.

Yeah it's a great album, but saw them in Manchester recently live, and they were awful.

The vocal is so important on the record, but live he was totally drowned out by the band, maybe just a bad gig.

Pleasant enough voice but the style is not quite my cup of tea. I listened to a few more and I just keep waiting for something to happen. It's like the song is missing the middle part.

Yeah they're very good, listened to their EP a bit last year and the album's good as well. Very chilled vibe to it.

Gave it a listen today, its nice and chilled but I wouldn't risk operating heavy machinery while listening to it.

I don't smoke, but the cig after sex looks so cool in the movies. Don Draper comes to mind.

Also, never heard of the band in the OP.
You think it's awesomes, and then you have a prolonged affair of kind with a women smoking two packs a day and try it out yourself.

Unless you are a really heavy smoker, it's not really fun.

Listened to their stuff for a couple weeks some years ago. Neat but gets old very fast.

Bought their debut when it came out as I liked the EP. Apart from 3 or 4 songs I thought it was a little weak, but the ones I do like are great. Plus I think over the course of a full length album the songs start to sound a little samey. I guess there's only so much you can do with atmospheric music and slow talk-signing.

Started listening to them a while ago, didn't know they'd finalized their album, will give it a listen as it's nice chill stuff to put on.

I see they're playing in Paris in May, a bit disappointed to read @dellboyy's comment though...

Give it a go, like i said, maybe it was just a bad sound setup.

Yeah maybe, though I can see how that type of music (what is it? atmospheric pop or something?) can not translate quite well to a live setup. But still, the tickets aren't too expensive so I'll definitely go. Always worth seeing.

Yeah some bands work better on either record or live, strange how hard it can be for them to get it right sometimes.

It's not a particularly outstanding album but I'm happy enough to buy into the vibe for that not to matter.

What a gem of a band I stumble upon on Spotify

Probably not everyone's cup of tea, but they sure light up my mood

Great recommendation. K and Nothing's Gonna Hurt you Baby are great songs.

Gonna have to get stoned and listen to them this week at some point.

Look at this guy bragging he's had sex.

Oh, it's a band? Never heard of 'em.

Will have to give it a listen. I kinda stopped listening to them after going to their gig last year which was an absolute car crash, one of the worst gigs I've ever been to. Put me off them a bit.
How come? They just not good live or did something happen?

Well they're in my sex playlist so I do listen to them now and again.

New album is out

It's pretty much exactly what you'd expect  I like it though.
I like their stuff and it's perfect music when you have a date over with a bottle of wine, but I find it to be repetitive (I can barely distinguish between songs). Is the new album just more of the same?

Also saw them live and they were one of the worst gigs I've been to.

I been listening to them for a bit. I swear all the songs sound exactly the same
