I don't think he can do that easily without consulting the rat family because any money he puts up will have implications on the shareholding structure and the Glazers would want that money for themselves.
What's more exciting for me are the appointments, we are a rich club and if we play our cards right over the next two summers we will be in a much better position financially and on the pitch. So my eye is on the appointments and getting Berrada and Ashworth in were two major coups.
What I like so far is that he has assembled a really strong team and they are both interested on the football. Brailsford, Blanc, Berrada and Ashworth is like a 199 times more experienced, more focused than whatever structure Woodward had conjured up with his mates.
Agreed, but can’t deny we haven’t been contenders in the league or champions league since Fergie left.

I’d say it’s clear he has sources somewhere. His information is too consistent to be made up.
People just don’t want to believe that someone who isn’t an accredited expert might know more than them. He wound folk up making them pay for the info on patreon too, but fair play if some will support him on patreon- we’re all just trying to make ends meet after all.

Ultimately though isn’t it what city did in the first place themselves? They got pretty much all their key staff from Barcelona, who were the best team in the world at the time. city just happen to be the best team in the world now
If it’s true though, and with the Berrada connection, I could see United making an ambitious attempt for Arteta.
We’re doing something right if people are getting pissed off. No one just lets their best staff go without a fight

The issue is because of the Glazers incompetence and neglect, we’re having to hire all these guys in one go, which makes it easy for the target clubs to dig their heels in knowing we’re desperate.
Terrible analogy. They're lines of credit, similar to the ones banks offer to their high net worth/income clients. They're variable interest loans based on the borrowing rate the bank pays plus a margin. In the case of United's revolving credit facility, I believe that margin varies between 2.5 and 3%. So if it costs the bank 3% to borrow money and they charge you 6%, that seems like a much much better deal than any pay day loan your average Joe is getting.

Most of his work is with the youth teams and being a conduit into the first team. He shouldn’t be affected by this appointment.

Omar came from City without a hitch, he joins in the summer ready to go with no problem... Only Ashworth that's been an issue so far.
