I'm more worried about getting scored on the counterattack than the lack of scoring on the corner itself. The scoring rate on corner kicks isn't that high -- around 2-3% I think -- although for clubs which specialize in set pieces it's closer to 8-10%.

The problem is more aesthetic than real. Our corner kicks look terrible -- they often don't beat the first man and when they do, the ball is lofted in without a lot of pace. Bruno takes a lot of corner kicks and his accuracy is better, but there's not a lot power on his delivery.

But even if we focused on this weakness in our game I'm not sure it would matter all that much in the end. However, I would like to see Rashford develop his heading skills. He's got similar physical attributes as Ronaldo and when Ronnie developed this aspect of his game he became a monster.

Why doesn't Manchester United specialise in corners? Is it illegal to do so? Our most important goals came from two corners. We did specialise in corners under SAF.
Get that potion correct and we would score more than 3% and that could be the difference in winning a trophy or not.

Bollox. Been like that for donkeys years and long before under soil heating
Yes, there was a drop off the first time I attended in 1963. But the guide on the ground tour that I attended a few years back said that the current drop off is to accommodate under soil heating, drainage and water supply for pitch sprinkling.

The dropoff is dodgy as feck. Frankly dangerous. I'm surprised other teams aren't complaining about it to be honest.

Just saying: always been there.

Agree, a bit dodgy but you’d think we could turn it to our advantage
