This means their keeper will have a Schmeichel-esque game tonight then. Always the way when they play United.Palace last 7 matches goal difference - 16 for, 20 against.

I think Darmian will play LB.Thats right Blind hasnt faced a fast player ever in his career before, lets play Rojo who hasnt a baldy how to play LB instead.
He's had a good season so far has he not ? Lots of direct dribbling and a cracking goal at the weekend. His confidence must be high.Zaha is receiving a lot of hype. If a neutral were reading this, he'd be convinced that Zaha is the reigning Ball on dor.
I haven't seen CP play, so I will be interested to see if all this hype is justified.
Probably. Not happy with anyone getting injured, but I prefer to see Hennessey between the posts. Although Mandanda has conceded a fair share as well, I still rate him pretty high. Will probably be Speroni and 72 saved shots tonight. This means their keeper will have a Schmeichel-esque game tonight then. Always the way when they play United.
On BT SportSorry if this has been answered already but is this game televised on any UK network?
I will endure the Owens then. ThanksOn BT Sport
I think Darmian at LB and Young RB.Blind LB and Darmian RB, or Darmian LB and Fosu-Mensah RB?
Can't remember ever having a good feeling about a game.Don't have a good feeling about today. Mkhi being out for the game is a huge loss.
At least when he does run his hamstring doesn't give out. The same can't be said for Owen.Be prepared for Owen to comment that Ibrahimovic doesn't seem to run anywhere and fail to understand their are other roles for a striker.
I'd like to see us get an early comfortable lead then sub zlatan off.Wonder if this is the game where we see Zlatan rested (coming off the bench if needed). Most minutes (1260) out of our outfield players this season, considering Palace’s defensive woes, I’d consider this more suitable than West Brom (a) on Saturday. Rooney or Rashford up top might suffice.
Yeah, I think that’s been the plan of José for a while, but we haven’t really had that early comfortable lead in the league since forever. So he’d probably end up playing full 90 again.I'd like to see us get an early comfortable lead then sub zlatan off.
Think the fact that CP has defensive woes would be wise for Zlatan to play to get the most out of it. Or would you trust Rooney or Rashford to pick up form and run their defense ragged. Rashford maybe, if he gets to his role of last season down the middle, but Mourinho seems to not want to play him there. And I just don't have the belief in Rooney as striker. So if we are going to take advantage of Palaces's defensive vulnerabilities, it would be best to come from our greatest threat available, Zlatan. I know there may be more goals in our midfield, but I'd rather depend on Zlatan getting the goals than anyone else.Wonder if this is the game where we see Zlatan rested (coming off the bench if needed). Yeah I'll be surprised if we don't drop points. Certainly nothing to suggest a comfortable win.Anyone else think we will drop points tonight? Hope I'm wrong obviously but just got a horrible feeling about this game considering the players we have missing.
Nope.Is Shaw fit? I'd be very comfortable with him taking care of Zaha.

That said, he does need a rest...so....
Agreed on both posts. That’s the issue though. I’m sure Zlatan can play tonight and Saturday, after which we have a 9-day break (from matches). But at some point his (incredibly fit) body might give in. Perhaps Martial is fit for Saturday and he could start up front.Yeah almost never do we get a comfortable lead, and its seems like Zlatan never wants to come off. But that would be ideal...70mins 3-0 up and get him off, but like that is ever going to happen
Me too. 5-1 United. Had a slight doubt after posting my line-up with no Mkhi nor Val available. Can't remember ever having a good feeling about a game.
Not sure where that confidence is coming from as Shaw has been pretty poor since his return from injury, especially defensively. But nope he is injured anyway. Is Shaw fit? I'd be very comfortable with him taking care of Zaha.
I agree the 20min rest doesn't do much. And Jose has done the half time change before, but usually when someone is playing reaaaaally bad. And to do that to Rash may just dent his confidence even more.Agreed on both posts. That’s the issue though. In the bolded scenario he’d get a 20-minute rest, which doesn’t help too much. What about if we start with say Rashford and if it’s 0-0 or 0-1 (to Palace) after the 1st half, we sub in the Zlatan? Plays only 45mins and saves us again. I know it doesn’t work like that and the start of every match is hugely important. But as been said, he needs the rest soon, he even himself said that the ”Thu-Sun is killing us, especially me.” So I don’t think he’d have any personal issues coming off. And don’t really care either, we’ve got a manager to make those decisions.
What exactly was his injury? Not sure where that confidence is coming from as Shaw has been pretty poor since his return from injury, especially defensively. But nope he is injured anyway.
Groin.What exactly was his injury?
I think we will either wayI agree the 20min rest doesn't do much. And Jose has done the half time change before, but usually when someone is playing reaaaaally bad. And to do that to Rash may just dent his confidence even more.
But if its pre-agreed on, then yeah, but like you said, doesn't work that way normally.
Against West Brom, they good with set-pieces if i'm not mistaken, so we will probably need him for that too.
Such a difficult one. Guess we will have to wait and see what Jose decides.
Nah, I don't think its guaranteed. Surely want Jose against Spurs would have made him look for another option. I'd much prefer TFM or even Young there over Darmian.I think Darmian RB is all but guaranteed, question is whether it's Blind or Rojo at LB especially considering Martial doesn't look set to play.
The only thing that gives me concern about starting Young or TFM is that neither of them have started a game in that position this seasonNah, I don't think its guaranteed. Rojo is a red card waiting to happen on the LB position so I'd go for Blind, he is intelligent enough to position himself to counter any pace that comes his way. But then again, as has been mentioned, Jose doesn't fancy him, but he is due a game surely.
He hasn't played upfront at all and has been in bad form. I think even Rooney has a bigger chance to be trusted to start upfront.Agreed on both posts. That’s the issue though. Yeah, he can be a fast and tricky player, but he's very underwhelming for the most part. The overestimating about him is ridiculous.Zaha is receiving a lot of hype. If a neutral were reading this, he'd be convinced that Zaha is the reigning Ball on dor.
I haven't seen CP play, so I will be interested to see if all this hype is justified.
Does Zaha ever swap sides during the game? If so, even if Darmian comes on at RB, he can identify him as the weak link and still exploit him. But either way, I'd still prefer TFM even though he may not have gotten much game time, let alone starting games, during this busy schedule, now's a good a time as any. Its not as if they have world beaters, TFM or Young could handle it just as adequately, if not more composed at least, than what Darmian would imo.The only thing that gives me concern about starting Young or TFM is that neither of them have started a game in that position this season
Plus Darmian struggled against someone with pace in Sissoko on the weekend, and Zaha likes to play as if he's Robben when it comes to United.
I can see Young starting though.
Yeah, that is true. More convinced with Martial’s recent performances than Rooney’s or Rashford’s though. Have a strong feeling that Zlatan is on the bench tonight. 4 matches in 10 days is pretty damn much for anyone. He hasn't played upfront at all and has been in bad form. I think even Rooney has a bigger chance to be trusted to start upfront.
