I think we can all agree that the current setup for cup draws in general, especially for the champions league is full of massive build up for what could take around a minute to pick the sides as they do it now. I think it would be way better if it was agreed to make the act of team selection much more exciting
Instead of picking numbered balls in a tub, I have come to the conclusion that the draw should be made via a giant roulette wheel outside that shoots the teams colours out of a firework from the middle and the number/team projected on a big screen behind it. I also had the idea of having a champions league puppy, where the dog picks the teams by getting put in the middle of a circle of possible treats corresponding to a number and whichever treat he eats would be who is picked for that slot in the draw.
