Yes! It's great.Worth taking Elvis off ignore to see the post?
18 clubs already have Billionaire owners including West Ham!Maybe shows what I'm thinking with the PL these days, or my need for the opticians but I read that as "Crazy" billionaire...
Still another billionaire. Before long, every club will have their own, then the benefit sort of wains no?
Net worth of $4b according to forbes, most of which is bound to be tied up in business and not cash reserves. Not going to be a Saudi/Abu Dhabi style splurge or even an Abramovich style one by the looks of it. Still, a couple hundred million could make them dangerous (not that they currently aren't to us already). If it is a single owner and not a group, what income level would you expect an owner to be?
That's interesting to read, I guess I sort of misspoke in terms of the billionaire thing, seems these days billionaire is the new millionaire. Would be interesting to know how many of the owners were billionaire before their clubs became established PL teams, and of those how many are self made cash bought billionaires, and how many are debt based and arguably worth less. Have to say I didn't know the Brentford chap was a billionaire, and also thought Tony Bloom was worth significantly less at Brighton, still you learn something everyday.18 clubs already have Billionaire owners including West Ham!
According to Wiki only Norwich (you can kinda tell...) and Watford haven't.
I suppose I was more meaning the sugar daddy multi-billionaire style owners with regards to the level playing field re transfers/facilities and so on.
A Glazer! What's the opposite of a Sugar Daddy? A Salty Mummy?
