If as is widely expected Giles retires after the Ashes, who would be our second spinner if we needed one, do we have any real depth?

What is Chatteris?
Dalrymple's been called up to replace Giles, more for his all round ability (30+ with the bat, 24 wickets at an average of 40 in C1 last season) but I'll bet he play as second spinner at Sydney with Mahmood / Anderson being left out.

But he's not a front line spinner.

Giles may be around for a couple of years more, and may be happy to play experienced second fiddle to Monty, faililng that Min Patel of Kent.

Rashid's a young Tyke leggy who got Botham very excited last season and I think he'll be nurtured over the next couple of years.
