Djed Spence - Spurs

I get that he was good for you guys but 4 managers weren’t keen. Perhaps speaks about the players attitude
I think you need to look a little deeper - Warnock had his favourite in Isiah Jones at RB for Boro - didn’t play him. Conti never wanted him and refused to play him and the Leeds boss played a back 4. It’s easy to roll out the “attitude problem” excuse to justify your decisions.
Cooper played to his strengths as a wing back, all but took defensive duties away from him and was prepared to put an arm round him.

In summary his issue seems to be not playing or not given what he perceives as a fair chance and he has to play in a side that plays wing backs. I get that he should work on the defensive side of the game which may have been a problem for some managers but there is no denying Conti was A twat with him and the Leeds move was a mistake.

Fair enough. Time will tell

But you could also question his judgment in choosing not to stay at Forest with Cooper where he would have been a fan favourite and regular Prem player in favour of a punt on Spurs where everything was up in the air.

We had folks complaining here that we should have got him because Dalot and AWB isn't good enough

Spurs was where he grew up and the club he supported - it was his dream move. I would have absolutely loved Djed to stay at Forest but he made it clear quite early that’s what he wanted. No problem from me and I wish it had worked out for him.

Didn't know any of that but the delusion is still a factor. Maybe if it hadn't been Spurs he'd have made the right choice and stayed at Forest.
