I am not 100% sure of it but i feel that he does not has the intention because in that game, as he jumps and challenges for the ‘aerial ball’, he swings and turns his body around hard at rudd thus caused the reaction from him (stuck out a foot to break away). Can someone kindly watch the replay and give his/her views here? Thank you.
