Honestly speaking, England are very improved as shown in Friendlies anyway. There is a freshness about this crop which I haven't felt since 2002.

People mock Southgate but the players seem to really enjoy playing for him. Personal relationships count for a lot more at internationals than at club level where it's a day by day environment.

TAA has looked solid in defence and in attack. IMO he's a better RWB than Trippier and should start ahead of him.

I thought Walkers is starting on the right side of a back 3, and its TAA vs Trippier?
That’s how he played last game right? And 1/2 games before that. Think there will be a lot of changes during groups

I like him, he’s the best we’ve had in a hell of a long time. Players seem much more settled than they have under other managers. He’s trying to put an actual system in place and It’s noticable the players have a different attitude.

Henderson has played his way into the team ahead of Dier.

Southgate has a big decision choosing between Rashford and Sterling.

RLC won’t see much action at the tournament.

I think Dier and Sterling will get the nod for the first game and RLC will over Lingard and Alli.

Promising performance. Anyone else think Butland, even though wasn’t challenged, looked more comfortable and composed than Pickford in the last match?

Well done Fabian Delph.

Excellent performance and was probably England's biggest winner on the night
