The 8 in 17 is the surprising stat here.Ajax conceded 8 in their first 17 matches. They have conceded 9 in their last 2.
For somebody who's circumnavigated the world he looks pretty lost.My Ajax friends are giving him a ton of flak. Is he that bad?
De Kuip is a truly epic stadium. Way too old, foundations literally shaking for 90 minutes in matches like this but the history and the atmosphere are incredible.Feyenoord stadium looks stacked. Are those safe standing stands all around the stadium in the lower tier? It's been a while since I've seen something like that in professional football.
I would rank their fans up their with Dortmund fans probably better. Their stadium is always rocking and sold out. I remember years ago they got recked 10-0 to PSV and then the following weekend 50k fans filled up De Kuip. Also when they won the title a few Yeats ago in the title deciding game where Kuyt scored a hat trick that atmosphere was unbelievable. I have massive respect for their fan base.Feyenoord stadium looks stacked. Are those safe standing stands all around the stadium in the lower tier? 100% agree better atmosphere then 90% of premier league venues without question. Also heard they wanted to expand it.De Kuip is a truly epic stadium. Way too old, foundations literally shaking for 90 minutes in matches like this but the history and the atmosphere are incredible.
Brilliant match as well.
Thanks, gutted I couldnt see it thoughCongrats @KirkDuyt, proper ass whooping
He looked abysmal so far but at least there's some hope that's not his true level. For somebody who's circumnavigated the world he looks pretty lost.
They want a new stadium.. the club does but the supporters would prefer to keep de Kuip. Their stadium is way too old and they could earn way more money with a new one but de Kuip has history and is a fantastic stadium. Also a new stadium is expensive...100% agree better atmosphere then 90% of premier league venues without question. Also heard they wanted to expand it.
LVG could work. Rather him then Dickie or Ten Cate. And LVG would love it to put one over Ajax.Louis van Gaal is being dropped as a potential successor for Gio at Feyenoord.
Please no.
I was there. I thought the whole stadium would explode.I would rank their fans up their with Dortmund fans probably better. Their stadium is always rocking and sold out. I am not even a fan but I hope they keep De Kuip it is a great venue. They want a new stadium.. the club does but the supporters would prefer to keep de Kuip. Basically it has been a topic for years now but not much has changed during those years.
Why is he on the verge of the sack? I obviously dont follow each club individually but I know he won the title with you guys and has done a relatively good job with hat he has been given.Louis van Gaal is being dropped as a potential successor for Gio at Feyenoord.
Please no.
They have already announced that he is leaving at the end of the season. It seems that it was Van Bronckhorst's decision. Why is he on the verge of the sack? I obviously dont follow each club individually but I know he won the title with you guys and has done a relatively good job with hat he has been given.
Maybe getting a higher profile job? Seems odd otherwise, he's doing a good job there and I think they are still in the cup. They have already announced that he is leaving at the end of the season. It seems that it was Van Bronckhorst's decision.
Thats a shame Feyenoord have done fantastic to come back after a couple of really rough years. Stability is important hopefully the next coach can do a good job. They have already announced that he is leaving at the end of the season. It seems that it was Van Bronckhorst's decision.
He won quite a few things, but there's little improvement in play. It's presented as his decision, but I think that's mostly to let him walk out head held high. Apart from yesterday we're mostly dogshit this season and a fairly large part of the fanbase is fed up with him (unfairly if you ask me).Why is he on the verge of the sack? The only goal he could have been at fault for was 1 out of the 6. Think it was his partner's fault or the other defenders were more at fault.De ligt struggling a bit here?
Reminds me a lot of Sporting trying to compete with Porto and Benfica. He won quite a few things, but there's little improvement in play. Obviously we simply dont have the means to systematically challenge PSV amd Ajax, bit most of the fans wont accept that and see Feyenoord as an equal, or near equal to them.
That is just embarrassing by Heerenveen
Agreed. Still a nice piece of awareness and quick thinking by Idrissi. (Wonder goal might be a bit of a stretch)That is just embarrassing by Heerenveen
Ajax has beaten Venlo at home something like 34 times in a row.Ajax are back...6-0 win against Venlo.
RvP scoring in a ground that has a stand named after him.Feyenoord
