A Belgian footballer has taken the unprecedented step of turning his back on football to embark on the always exciting world of gay porn.

For years Belgian football player Jonathan De Falco was renowned for his ability to get in around the back and his composure during corners as balls flew at his face. However, the 27-year-old now has a new profession, after he left the football world to become a gay porn star.

Following an injury, defender De Falco quit Belgian side Racing Mechelen earlier this year and is now known in gay porn circles as Stany Falcone.

"For several months I have had a boyfriend,” De Falco told a Flemish newspaper last weekend. The story was was also covered by Outsports, a site which JOE stumbled upon purely for research purposes.

“Previously I had a girlfriend, but I always felt attracted to men. I never hid. Since I was 20 I have been in gay circles, but when I played soccer, nobody noticed anything. If my orientation would have been known, there would have undoubtedly been problems.

"The soccer world is not ready for openly gay players. There are still too many prejudices and too little tolerance."

De Falco may have a point, as the last high-profile gay footballer was the tragic case of Justin Fashanu, who encountered opposition taunts during his career and committed suicide after sexual assault allegations.

Is that a JOE article? It reads like it was written by two people, firstly a Journalist from The Sun with all the cheap jokes and then someone else took over and is like “no but seriously, it’s unlikely he would have been accepted as an openly gay footballer”.

Kevin Francis - Policeman in Canada
Bixente Lizarazu - European jiu jitsu champion
Tim Wiese - WWE wrestler but think he only had a few appearances there

Peter Storey the Arsenal hatchet man from the 70’s and England international. Anyone remember him?

Since his playing days:

1979 fined £700 and given a six-month suspended jail sentence for running a brothel in East London.
In 1980 he was jailed for three years for financing a plot to counterfeit gold coins.
In 1990 he was jailed for 28 days for attempting to import 20 pornographic videos from Europe which he'd hidden in his spare tyre.

Owned a pub, Jolly Farmers on London’s Southgate Rd
Owned a minicab firm
Worked on a market stall in Portobello Rd
Minicab driver
Chauffeur in Istanbul

Released an autobiography ”True Storey”

He currently resides with wife no 4 in southern France

You couldn't make it up. He's pretty much an entire series of Eastenders. I'm just going to go ahead and assume it was jellied eels he was selling from his stall.

Sebastian Deisler (Hertha, Bayern) ran a "Nepal shop" in Freiburg, selling incense and prayer flags, and was training to become a Physio therapist.

1972 world champion and 3x CL winner Schwarzenbeck (Bayern) runs a newspaper shop in Munich.

Markus Münch (Bayern, Gladbach) runs a stud farm and racing stable http://mm-racingteam.com/

Rudi Kargus, HSV keeper legend, is an abstract painer -> http://www.kargus-art.de/kontakt.html

Jörg Butt, swapped keeping goal at Bayern with running the family business, which does landing ramps and roller doors http://www.en.butt.de/home.php

I think Michael Owen is a professional gambler who works on TV and does dodgy ads to pay for his profession
