He hasn't had as many minutes as Chalobah, because when they've had minutes Chalobah has done more with them. Loftus-Cheek's weakness (and it was the same under Jose) is that he can look lazy and disinterested. Some of it is purely body language, but its been remarked on by many people and led to Jose giving him a public dressing down at one point. Ruben needs to pull his socks up and make the most of his opportunities, because he's still being given them.
Okay, then wouldn't you agree that it'd be time for him to move on, then? Chelsea can sell him with a buyback/first option clause to another side where he can get straightened up mentally and play in a defined role. He'd get more minutes, demonstrate his ability more, and make more of a name for himself.

No I wouldn't. He is an excellent talent and he's learning from top, top players. He's where he needs to be and he's going nowhere. :p

Excellent talent that's 4th choice. Okay, a season-long loan at a Premier League side then, like what Aké had until Chelsea recalled him.

How on earth could Spurs pay 30 mil on Sissoko. He can barely run with the ball. Or in the other words - he doesn't really know how to play football.

Well if they want to regularly get top players, KEEP them and build a top team then they have to grow financially and the cup is almost irrelevant in that regard. Of course making the top 4 once won't be the big deal that changes all either and even continuing to do it doesn't guarantee anything but in general that's the way to grow.
Yep, that's true, but as you said, it doesn't guarantee anything so they should be trying to win cup competitions with the team they have now and compete for a top 4 place. It'd be no doubt tough but sacrificing cups just to get into Europe isn't the only option of making it.

The last time they finished inside the top 4 they sold their best player, had an uninspiring transfer market, and were promptly eliminated in the group stage, so it doesn't guarantee they'll be better off next year with it than without.
