Walter Crickmer started it all...
Game has been confirmed for Monday 13th December at Old Trafford.

It will most likely be a very young team so a good chance for these lads to play in front of a decent crowd at Old Trafford after playing behind closed doors for over a year.

If you live local, get down and support the youngsters...entry will be free.

Always look forward to watching this. A great tradition for the club.

I might be able to pop up.

Who do you think will feature?

Looking forward to this.

Still listed as being live on MUTV so hopefully that won't change.

I hope not, that is shocking if so. A month ago I wrote to MUTV and asked about them leaving academy and 23's full game replays for a week or two on the app but they said no. Being overseas, if I miss a match I get the 10 minute each way highlights. :( Even worse, sometimes we get a 4 minute replay of just the goals.

Hi Darren, we are not always able to show the full 90 minutes of games however your feedback will be passed onto our production team. At least I got a reply.

Can someone please send that bald reporter to a media training course ? He is constantly looking into the camera and over to the guy he is interviewing....you almost get seasick from watching him:)

1-0 United, keeper will be disappointed that he fumbled that 1 on 1. Mather with a tap-in.

Not sure how he's viewed as a talent but I really rate Oyedele. He does the dirty work really well and always looks tidy once he's regained composure.

Absolute beauty from Garnacho, 2-0.

United give away a really sloppy goal, 2-1.

Oyedele with a well-earned goal!

We're playing some beautiful football, 4-1.

bit of a joke yellow card that. For a shush celebration?
I think it was for running to the Scunthorpe fans I think - ridiculous booking either way

Did seem a bit weird he was booked for that, the Scunthorpe fans have heightened the tension of this game and created a fairly hostile atmosphere, our lads have every right to give it back.

Strange that we won 4-2 in a game where we were so superior. As much as I liked the overall performance, we need to improve before both goals if we are to go far in this tournament.

Scunthorpe appear to have brought a bunch of absolute bellends with them.

There's only 3 teams in the Football League with rude words baked into the name of the club. Arsenal, Scunthorpe and fecking Leeds United. It's no wonder all their fans are such wankers.

Just out of curiosity - how did Arsenal manage to lose 3-0 to Colchester ? :)
