I'll defend my title. I love those tiebreakers. :D

We should have a league rule about people dumping their whole teams though.

So that's 3. I'll commish it and make sure dumping doesn't happen.

I'll do it obviously.

Christ, I have one title already. I might as well try for another title in a different sport.

Count me in. I enjoyed last year, but as the others have expressed concern about the debacle of "team dumping" and trade irregularities, I would hope some ground rules or something can be put in place to make it fair and more fun.

I really don't think we'll get everyone online at the same time to do a draft bearing in mind the different time zones we all live in. I think we'd have to draft either by email or on a message board.

It might be hard to actually have a draft. We might just want to rate the players ourselves and have an electronic draft.

Why don't we go by last year's standings and let the crappier teams from last year draft first. :)
Of course, not even that would help me get into the top half of the league.

I would like to have some kind of a draft (e-mail looks to be the easiest way), rather than rate the players and get an electronic draft. If we start in the next week or so we should get at least 7-8 rounds :) .

Due to governmental constraints, I could only go through a "real" draft-- rather than the computer generated one of last year, on a Saturday--work wouldn't allow and Sunday I'm either ushering at my church or subjected to my wife's cult. :) Either way, the logistics or a live draft might be difficult over a wide variety of time zones.

Could you do a message board draft or one by email Bob?

I'm not familiar with the Yahoo fantasy football. Could someone provide a link to it? Do I have to join Yahoo? At present, I don't yahoo.

The league is set up already - I'm just waiting for final numbers (i.e. we need more players really otherwise it won't be competitive) and confirmation from folks about what kind of draft they prefer/can do.

Highly unlikely, besides it isn't the place for it. So long as we start drafting by mid Aug we'll be allright.

Can you all pm me your yahoo email addresses please? Looks like we'll have to draft deep rosters as we have so few players - need to make it competitive somehow.

Quick questions.

How many total players can be fielded at once? How many at each position?
The following must start:

QB, QB, WR, WR, WR, RB, RB, RB, TE, TE, WR/TE, WR/RB, K, DEF

You have 6 bench spots. Check the league settings option for all the rules.

Love to, however, can't be doing with the daily line up thingy, too much like hard work.

Let me know what the dealio is.
It'll be daily changes but that doesn't mean you have to check in daily - you can set your lineups well in advance for each day. You can also just change your lineups on the Sunday and leave it for the week - you may miss out on some games though. Check the thread below for more details.
