Its currently called the Carabao Cup, but which was the your favourite sponsor/naming of the cup?

1981-86- Milk Cup
86-90 - Littlewoods challenge Cup
90-92 - Rumbelows Cup
92-98- Coca-Cola Cup
98-03- Worthington Cup
03-12 - Carling Cup
12-16 - Capital one Cup
16-Present - Carabao Cup

It will always be known as the carling cup for me.

Carling Cup obviously, but the amount of football magazines from the late eighties has made a special place in my heart for Littlewoods Cup

Rumbelows for the nostalgia, Coca-Cola Cup for the way it rolls off the tongue.

Milk Cup by far the worst.

Carling currently hold the record with their 9 year stretch of endorsement; can Carabao cling on for two more seasons to overtake them? Riveting stuff.

I grew up with the Coca-Cola cup, but my favourite sponsor was Carling just because it sounds better than the others.

I don't think I've actually referred to it by the sponsor in years though. I just instinctively call it the league cup now.

As a kid growing up, I genuinely believed that the official title of cup was Carling Cup and was shocked to find out that it's actually a beverage company. Even now, I mistakenly call it Carling Cup.

I'm sure it was known as the League Cup back in the day.

Carling Cup. It still is the Carling Cup.

Just like the Premier League is still the 'FA Carling Premiership'.

They're all shite. Any league or cup competition named after a sponsor makes them feel cheap.

At least the Premier League ditched the sponsored name years ago.

I always called the Worthington Cup the Worthless Cup. How times have changed. The Carling Cup was good. I've called it the League Cup since though, can't even remember the Capital One Cup. The Mickey Mouse Cup was another good name.

back in the day in late 90s/early 00s, we used to hear Arab commentators call it "Milk Cup" in Arabic, I always wondered why and now I see why

It’ll always be the Coca Cola Cup to me. I still catch myself calling it that sometimes.

Got to be the coca cola cup. My earliest memories of United was losing against Villa in the 94 final. Recall Andre Kanchelskis getting sent off for a handball

Yeh I just call it the League Cup. I remember in school I used to call it Worthington and people would laugh at me and say it's Carling. Probably still refer to it as Carling now. But yeh I stick to League Cup.

Coca Cola for me. Never really found it that exciting and wish it changed to Olympic style rules or something but Carabao as a name is just weird.
