feck this club.
I repeat. They need two defenders and a striker. They aren’t spending that much in one window. Also another attacker if they don’t get Raphinha. They'll just put in a bid that funds the repayment for Barcelona. So instead of £56m, they'll put in a bid of £73m (£56m + £17m) if they are that desperate for the player. Its likely what Barcelona would have wanted United to do. Chelsea are one of the clubs crazy enough to do it.
Because he's so excited by the prospect of coming here?I don't see him going to Chelsea over us
He has CL at BarcaETH vs CL, not sure he'd choose the former
We're also going to give them our best player.ETH vs CL, not sure he'd choose the former
Hmmm…. first instinct is a mix of clickbait and Barca PR shit stirring.Tweet

They got a new sugar daddy willing to show intent. Not saying it will happen, but don't think we can rule it out, if their interest is genuineI repeat. They need two defenders and a striker. They aren’t spending that much in one window. Also another attacker if they don’t get Raphinha.
So. What they going to do. Partner him with Jorginho? He wants Champions League football.
He’s not going to use his own money like Roman to fund deals. He’s American. They got a new sugar daddy willing to show intent. Not saying it will happen, but don't think we can rule it out, if their interest is genuine
Don't see how that changes anything I saidHe’s not going to use his own money like Roman to fund deals. He’s American.
Barcelona? I agree.feck this club.
They have a new owner and no back room team like before. Sterling has taken them weeks.Chelsea used to get their signings done quickly. If they are really interested and go sign him it will be done quickly. For us it will be like ripping of a band-aid fast instead of, if we dont sign him, this long and painful proces.
A Champions League club (and winners in 2021) based in London with a rich owner keen to plash cash in his first summer in charge? Yep, nothing to fear from them!He won’t go to Chelsea over us and Chelsea need two defenders. I don’t see it as a priority.
Panic setting in aside, this is a rational view. At least until the british T1 guys verify the claimSmells of propaganda to push United in to helping bridge the gap in monies owed to De Jong.
I agree I think the timing is interesting.Smells of propaganda to push United in to helping bridge the gap in monies owed to De Jong.

Exactly. It’s coming from Spain too isn’t it which makes it even more suspicious at this stage?I agree I think the timing is interesting.
Possibly. Chelsea are scattergun this summer though so you can’t rule it out.I suspect that Chelsea aren't as keen on him as we are. But I reckon that they will try to drive up the price that we would ultimately have to pay to sign him- we are top 4 rivals with a limited budget after all.
Exactly. Bollocks do Chelsea want him, they've just brought back Gallagher and they're not just going to drop Jorginho or Kovacic for him. Would be a huge waste of money for them.I don't believe it, it's more Barca nonsense. They really are tragic.
Like Sancho? They beat us to him too rightChelsea are the Paulo to our Ross
Seems we always waste months on these targets just for Paulo to get them with no fuss
It would be interesting if the two best players to be managed by Ten Hag both moved clubs this summer and both ended up at Chelsea rather than United. I can't imagine Ten Hag would be too pleased to see De Jong and De Ligt linking up together elsewhere.I suspect that Chelsea aren't as keen on him as we are. But I reckon that they will try to drive up the price that we would ultimately have to pay to sign him- we are top 4 rivals with a limited budget after all.
Or we just sign him as anticipated.Like Sancho? They beat us to him too right
Who exactly did they beat us to? We got Shaw, Lukaku and Sancho, who they were also sniffing aboutLike Sancho? They beat us to him too right
"Used to" is the key word here, they have been after guys like Kounde for over a year now.Chelsea used to get their signings done quickly. If they are really interested and go sign him it will be done quickly. For us it will be like ripping of a band-aid fast instead of, if we dont sign him, this long and painful proces.
I think he’d choose ETH over 1 season without CL, to be honestBecause he's so excited by the prospect of coming here?
No CL football will be the decider here.
Hazard is the only oneWho exactly did they beat us to? We got Shaw, Lukaku and Sancho, who they were also sniffing about
