After being eliminated by Portland Timbers in the Round of 16, the U/15's have been playing in 'showcase' matches probably to determine final standings.

14/4 v Universidad Nacional drew 0-0 but won 4-3 on pens
15/4 v Inter Miami CF drew 1-1 but won 6-5 on pens
16/4 v Sporting Kansas City being played later today.

The U/17's lost 1-2 to River Plate in a game they might have won. River Plate only had two shots on goal. A penalty in the first half when Wooster was adjudged to bringing a player down after five mins and the winning goal from a corner really late into injury time.

Ethan Wheatley scored our goal which apparently was a cracker from a tight angle after a through ball by McAllister.

We now play New York City FC in a play-off later today.

Final update from the Generation Adidas Cup.

The U/15's lost their final game 0-2 to Sporting Kansas City

The U/17's finished in 6th place overall with their final two games both going to penalties.

16/4 v New York City FC finished 1-1 (Musa) and then winning 8-7 on pens. It went to 10 kicks each with Lawrence and Wheatley missing our two and everyone else scored.
17/4 v CM Rayados finished 1-1 (Jackson) and the losing 3-4 on pens. Curley and Jackson missed the first two and then Nolan, Williams and McAllister all converted.

Both teams played a total of seven games over the tournament and no doubt was a good experience playing in different conditions (very windy, hard ground, little grass) against a range of international opponents.
