Thanks for posting. Dunphys book, A Strange kind of glory, is still the best football book there is as far as I'm concerned. Pity he can be such an ass.

Thanks for posting indeed. I still rate Busby as the greatest manager of all time. I know SAF had more success but what Busby did, what he achieved with United coming from from the low base we were at will never be repeated.
I am always amazed there hasn't been a film made about Busby's life.
What a story. What a man.

Poor lads.
Imagine George Best getting 7 pounds a week? He hit the big time when he went up to 120 a week!
Wonder what George in his prime would be paid these days?
