just died aged 91, when I saw he was trending I thought he'd be late 70's, always liked him as a commentator.

Wasn’t the greatest commentator in my opinion. There was a lot of competition in those days. Moore, Davis, Motson, Coleman.
But he was a great reporter and seemed like a top man. RIP
