Another son of another City legend being amazing at Dortmund. They should both move to the Etihad.

So he went and did this last night. Only played 20 or so minutes due to returning from injury, but was the best player on the pitch for his time on it. Can't wait to see him back to full speed again!

It's like watching a clip from the 60s.. opponents breaking formation to approach him 1v1, tackling in slow motion. Rounded off by the commentator going for the cliche "aiaiaiai".

...and then he loses the ball.
He had absolutely no one to pass it to as the US team was completely gassed at that point and no one went with him. Pefok was already there but did not give him any sort of run.

Yeah you’d expect at least one more runner from deep to help him out. The one-two was on just before he eventually got tackled, but nevertheless you buy yourself some greed after leaving five players for dead.

That clip wasn't impressive at all. He should have played that wide after beating one or two men. Reminiscent of a kid on the school playground commentating on his run as if he's Messi.

I'd be fuming if that was a player on my team!

high altitude games have more 1v1 like that in 2nd half due to exhaustion

He's fragile, don't see this being a good loan move for him. We shall see.
Agreed, both physically and mentally. I am hoping this loan is a good thing for him as he is the most talented player the US has, but there is something missing with this guy. The technical and physical skills are fantastic, but the mentality is not.
