Right, so who are the realistic top, 5 say?

Does Mason have a realistic chance of winning this?
Looking at the results so far and you'd think not. Seems the Turks and Ukranians are taking over the voting.

He just has to make it to top 20 of these 40 during the voting. After that it's journalists from various outlets that decide the winner. Popular vote doesn't elect the final winner.

I'm surprised that Bellingham doesn't have more votes though. I think he will be a jury favorite, though they might elect to save him for later years as he's expected to only get better.

Top 5 would probably be

Camavinga
Bellingham
Wirtz
Musiala
Pedri

In no particular order.

Pedri’s the only one I’ll accept beating him.

With Haaland no longer in contention Mason is as good as anyone on that list.

Greenwood scoring regularly in the premier League and europe is surely more impressive than what those Centre mids are doing.

It's going to be between Pedri, Bellingham and Camavinga. They either have hype on their side or play for big teams and get more coverage.
