Make your own and see what you can come up with.

Heres my effort.

De Gea - I think he's arguably one of the best of all time. Still has plenty more to give. Also not bad with his feet which is key in 5 a side (passing and shot stopping)

Koeman - One of the highest (might be the highest actually) scoring defenders of all time. Rocket shot ideal for fives. Tough and uncompromising.

Messi - Try getting the ball off him if you can. One of the best ever. That nuisance when you play 5 a side that you just want to smash into the wall.

Zidane - The best in the business. What didn't he have?

Luis Ronaldo - He might not be able to take it around the keeper but the most complete centre forward ever seen. Pace, power, dribbling and ruthlessly composed. Finishing 20 (Footy manager nod).

DDG
Roberto Carlos
Xavi
Messi
Luis Ronaldo

If it's 5-a-side, you don't really need defenders.
Just a goalie and a few dribblers.

Gk.
Dave

Dribblers.
Messi
Ronaldinho
Zidane
Fat Ronaldo

Neuer - huge enough to cover an entire 5 a side goal without moving
Maldini
Ronaldinho
Messi
R9

Milan 5 aside:

Dida
Maldini
Seedorf
Kaka
Shevchenko.

Really this.

Just pick 4 players who have insane skills and tricks, it's what it's about.

Messi, Dinho, Neymar and Cristiano for me. All of them spent their childhoods playing futsal. Neymar especially, probably the greatest 5-a-side player you can have.

You can make two great 5 a side team from our last CL winning team. We had top players on almost each position and fantastically balansed squad.

I would pick:

VDS
Evra
Scholes
Rooney
Berbatov

DDG
Maldini
Ronaldinho
Messi
Maradona

Subs:
Cristiano
Pele
Neymar

Neuer, Dinho, Pele, Maradona, Messi

DDG - pretty easy, his reactions are gold in futsal
roberto carlos - brazilian defender...enough said
Pogba - strong body, cant outmuscle him combined with good dribbler
Ronaldinho - just a god
Messi - close ball control is key

From current players at this time I would go with:

1. De Gea
2. David Luiz
3. Messi
4. Neymar
5. Alexis Sanchez

6. Hazard (sub)

I would have Neuer in goal — in a 5-a-side his footwork will be very useful, and he isn't that much worse in the goal itself.
Beckenbauer — the best defensive player ever who can do pretty much everything with the ball
Maradona — the highest individual peak in history, incredible ball control and arguably the greatest set of different tricks in his locker
Messi — alongside Maradona one of the all-time best dribblers, equally capable of scoring and creating goals
Ronaldinho — gets in ahead of some more talented players because of suitability of his style to a 5-a-side football

Pele, Luis Ronaldo and Di Stefano have different qualities; Ronaldo's pace and running with the ball won't be as useful as it is in the normal football, Di Stefano's stamina and incredible work rate is also a bit useless; Pele could easily take Dinho's place, of course. Best would also be in the consideration.

Pearce
Barton
Souness
Jones
Dicks
No need for a keeper, opposition will never get near the goal.

Id have 2 teams, one possession based and one more defensive.

De Gea
Busquets
Xavi
Iniesta
Messi

De Gea
Zanetti
Davids
Fenomeno
Tevez

Tevez is probably controversial one with everyone naming Dinho and co. but i reckon he would be immense, great work rate which is crucial in a high level futsal, brilliant with back to goal and in the same time has low center of gravity so he gives you a lot of options up front, not your usual anchor or how ever you guys call that type of player in 5aside. Initially i had Pogba but you just cant leave Fenomeno out.

GOALIE

Zico
Socrates
Falcao
Cerezo
Careca

Actually it's a good idea to create teams from the existing partnerships.
Xavi, Iniesta, Messi and Ronaldinho will play as they did together in hundreds of games and thousands of training sessions — just add a keeper and they're golden.
@oneniltothearsenal 's 1982 attempt is also a great one.

maybe I got confused, but looked like onenil said goalie can be anyone, and than proceeded with the outfield guys:D

Don't think too hard on that point, I wasn't when making the post ;)

Ooh thats another great one. I'd pay a lot to see that five against the 82 Brazilians both in their peak!

De Gea - Great reflexes and good on his feet.

Marcelo - Great on the ball, can recover quickly on defense.

Cannavaro - Does most of the defensive work with help from Marcelo.

Pogba - Great on the ball, can pretty much do it all.
.
Messi - Self explanatory.

It's a testament to Messi's greatness that I had to leave Ronaldinho out.

anyone
anyone
Messi
Maradona
R9

people who played with R9 in training said that he is the best techincal player they have ever seen (i.e. RVN,Zidane,Owen,Capello)

I like this.

Ceni
Matthaus
Zidane
Best
Ronaldinho

Ceni - Wanted something different for the goalie. Was originally thinking someone smaller and insanely agile for those low shots but decided to put a goalscorer in there in the end. Why not?

Matthaus - Bouncing of the Koeman suggestion from someone else. Defensive minded player who is good on the ball and can score.Beckenbauer is an obvious shout here too.

Zidane - Might be a bit of a risk if he doesn't come back, but great passing, dribbling, vision and a goal threat too.

Best and 'dinho - brilliant at dribbling in tight spaces, goals, creativity, tricks etc. Could easily have put Messi in there. Might've got more work-rate from him to be fair but I wanted a United player and Ronaldinho is my all-time favourite non-United player. It's bias but they're hardly bad picks!

I have 3 names down in stone. Neuer in goals, Rijkaard as CB/DM behind and Messi up top.

For the other two positions I'm torn between going for two ball playing full backs with huge engines and massive ability up front and at the back. Something like Cafu and Facchetti.

Or going for a proven partnership like Xavi and Iniesta to own the ball and control the game.
