Ok folks, have done this the last few windows, time to do this one, even if i'm a bit late.

As of 12th July, who will be our next signings, and how much will our summer NET spend be?

I'll quote figures to ensure you dont cheat ;-)

EDIT. lukaku is 75m, lindelof 31m. Until i hear otherwise Rooney was a free (?)
 
My guess.

  • Dier
  • Perisic
  • A big/surprise player.
Net 190m
 
£184m

Lindelof - £31m
Lukaku - £75m
Perisic - £48m
Fabinho - £30m

Out:

Rooney - Free
 
Perisic will be the next one. I think our net spend will be around £164m. I think we'll get some money back from sales towards the end of the window.
 
Morgan and Memphis fees are added to this transfer spend or last?

Out: Smalling (£15m)
Out: Januzaj (£9.8m I think they said?)
Out: Darmian (£15m)

Overall net spend around £112m

Do you really think we won't go for a DM? We need a DM more than we do a winger so i am surprised by your post.

I think we're going to go hard for Dier but won't get him. I think Fabinho will go elsewhere (and we seem to be uninterested), Weigl is injured and won't be looked at, Matic isn't going to be sold to us, so I think we'll leave that position as it seems to be last on our priorities after Perisic anyway.

All valid points, personally I feel without a DM we will struggle to challenge for the title. Fellaini and Carrick just aren't good enough to play that 3rd CM spot in a 4-3-3 and Fellaini loves his controversial challenges. I could see us having real.problems if we stick with him as a first XI starter rather than a squad player.
 
total spend will be at least 200m pounds, but unfortunately on shit players like dier or pericic, lukaku is a meh, lindelef is an unknown nobody

Why's he managed to avoid being banned for 10 years?

He's a complete knobhead who's only aim on here is to wind people up. Other posters have been banned for much less.

On topic, I reckon we'll spend around £160-170m. Bring in two more players hopefully.

I'd say you'll spend another maybe 80m or so so in total £200m.

Perisic will come for about £35m and Dier for about £50m so that would be £191m
Maybe less if you take Matic instead of Dier. We'll say £180 or there abouts.

No way Perisic will come at 35m when we already bid more than that and got rejected. I think it'll be closer to 200m regardless we bring Dier or Matic
