Most of the matches will have no meaningful impact, however Liverpool or Leicester could still qualify for the champions league.

Also if Arsenal win and Spurs lose, Arsenal will finish above them this season.

Big Sam calling Bielsa a 'Poundshop Neil Warnock' in a rumbustious post-match interview.

One utterly bonkers result that could only happen on the last day of the season like someone winning 8-4.

A meaningless 0-0 game being so dull and boring that MoTD "accidentaly" run out of time to show it due to a lack of highlights in the game.

One unlikely player scores a hat trick and is never heard of again.

Liverpool storm their way to 4th place after a guzzling display of footballing mastery against Crystal Palace and Stephen Merchant stars as Jurgen Klopp in a television serial about it on Channel 5.

Any chance Crystal Palace players will play their hearts out to honor Woy is his final game? Would be a great send-off!
No chance of that happening. Liverpool in stunning form combined with luck, on the other hand Crystal Palace in poor form. Didn't they lose 7-0 to Liverpool earlier this reason.

Don't crush my dreams :p anyway, the combined likelihood of Liverpool dropping points AND Leicester beating Spurs are of course extremely slim.

  • Chelsea (Villa away)/Leicester (Spurs home) /Liverpool (Palace home) all have must win games, however only Leicester can win and not qualify
  • West Ham guarantees Europa League with a draw at home against Southampton
  • Spurs (Leicester away) /everton (City away) /Arsenal (Brighton home) fighting it out for the europa conference league
So 6 games where there is something on the line (and 7 teams where something matters), with 3 of those teams being for the europa conference league which doesn't actually matter to most I'd say... at least there is still something to play for in the top 4. What would Sky do if the title, top 4 and relegation spots were all fully decided heading into the final day??

They would explode with the excitement and cease to exist as an entity.

What I want:
  • Benteke, Zaha, and the rest of the Croydon heroes to give Roy the goodbye he deserves, by beating the team that didn’t appreciate him when they had him :wenger: Hopefully an Allison howler and Thiago red card happen too, one to end the lovefest, and the other just much overdue.
  • Leicester to DRAW their game, making the Liverpool loss even more painful (Unbelievable. We only needed a point, la)
  • That draw with Leicester combined with an Arsenal win means we get to witness another St Totteringham’s day, and the boy genius, Arteta, rescues the season by qualifying for Europ…the Europa conference league on the last day of the season.
  • Burnley get hammered by Sheffield United, just because feck Burnley.
  • Mason hattrick vs Wolves, so he starts on the right vs Villarreal instead of Marcus.

Calling anyone a Poundshop Neil Warnock is like describing an orange by saying it's orange.
For sure, but this is Real Madrid's Sam Allardyce we're talking about. Sam has a warped set of values when it comes to British grunt-merchants.
