In light of the posts on Social Media this morning, I thought putting a thread up on here would be beneficial to some.

Domestic Abuse is an abhorrent crime and the victims of it can feel desperate, alone and scared.

There are many organisations out there who can provide support and give advice on how to escape from a Domestic Abuse situation. As someone who works closely with victims of DA, I have linked in with many of these charities and organisations and they all do fantastic work. If you're reading this and you're a victim yourself, please know that you are not alone. These organisations are discreet and confidential and your abuser will not know you have contacted them.

This list is not exhaustive, so if anyone has any others that I have not posted, please feel free to add. These are the ones I link in with regularly.

Samaritans: 116 123

Women's Aid: https://www.womensaid.org.uk/

Mankind (Help for male victims): https://www.mankind.org.uk/

I appreciate that this isn't a football related thread, so mods, feel free to move elsewhere. My posting privileges are restricted somewhat and wasn't sure where else to post as I wanted it to be seen.
