I like him but he’s not there yet.
An absolute howler of a mistake tonight has confirmed he’s not a ball playing sweeper keeper that so many criticise De Gea for not being.
He’s still learning his trade but the first time we put faith in him he wilts under the pressure. If De Gea does that everyone screams how he’s past it and lost confidence.
De Gea is comfortably the better GK and likely will be for the foreseeable future.
