Images which appear to show border agents on horseback driving migrants back to a river like cattle have sparked an investigation in the US.
The pictures widely shared on social media show the riders using their reins against the migrants and pushing them back towards the Rio Grande in Texas.
Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas says his department will investigate reports of alleged abuse.

Tbf, the use of horses in a terrain like that is effective. But as @nimic mentioned, the Border Patrol and Texas Rangers are notoriously white sup orgs that had to adjust to the times a little bit. But their core disciplines were born with a white sup POV.

Why is it important to you to point out that the guy threatening people with a cord may not technically be using a whip, and why is threatening people with cords not denouncable while whips are?
