If De Gea goes to Real, what's the best deal we can get from them?

Please no Isco. I like Isco but we are obviously far from best team for that kind of players, I have no idea when will people finally learn. Same goes for James. Not his biggest fan, but Bale would probably be ideal.

Not even counting Kroos here, I doubt he would come to United.
 
If we want to sign Morata, we don't even have to sell them De Gea. If Milan can get him for 50m, we can just pay that. He'll most probably pick us over Milan. We should ask for Bale or Isco for De Gea (which they won't agree so we end up keeping him).

Isco won't suit us only if we play him on the wing. We should play him in a midfield 3 with Pogba and Herrera. He'll help us break us down so many teams that park the bus.

Maybe but prices have sky rocketed in the last couple of years and I've noticed £60m doesn't seem to buy me what it used to? :) .... for example, the quoted Lukaku figures?!

Also, De Gea can play for another ten years+ .... you'll rarely (I say rarely) get that many top class years from a purchase on an outfield player? If they were buying a 26 year old winger/mid/def, they'd struggle to get 10 years, they might even get 15 from a De Gea buy (goalies play longer?)

That said, don't need cash so Kroos for me

He's also a keeper, and no matter how good he is, he'll never be able to pull the same price as an attacker. Hasn't happened so far and I don't see why it'll start now.
 
Either Full 70 Plus m Pounds. Or Include Modric in any deal Plus the Money, Dont think isco is gonna be lured here , hes a zidane favourite also young. Bale's buck has passed now ,and also Morata aint a player who'd make headlines in the league.
 
£70m is alot for a keeper but if any keeper is worth it, its DDG given he has 10 years left at the top.

I agree, but how would you play both Bale and Griezmann on the same team, considering both thrive in a free role behind the striker?
 
No RM players are worth playing for Man United ..! Just don't sell De Gea.
Don't know what happens to players when they go to RM.. They just forgets football ethics ..!

Its actually players like Isco and James that we need to help with creativity and goal scoring, and not Bale that cant even stay fit
 
You're only getting money, there's no way we're sending you any of our players. In fact Morata plus 25 seems to good for me, but that depends on whether he wants to stay or go to another club. This time I think we're not even letting Navas go.

Buffon transferred for €51m in 2001. If you adjust for inflation (not football prices, but general consumer prices), that's €75m in today's money. Same as we're asking for DDG and football prices have inflated way way more.

I'll remind you the £50m for Stones too when he was never in contention for being one of the players in his position in the world or a forward either.

Unfortunately for RM until De Gea's contract runs down, the only valuation that matters is ours. And I also agree that £60m/€75m should be the starting point of the negotiations. If RM don't like that, life's tough, they can look elsewhere.

Because they'll play more here. Isco, James and Morata have all expressed discontent with their amount of playing time, I think.
 
Morata is average to decent. He would merely be adding numbers to the striker spot than any considerable quality.
 
Wouldn't have Morata. He's average, basically the Spanish Danny Welbeck. Doesn't score enough goals for me and if he was truly top class, Madrid wouldn't be looking to flog him off for a second time.

A straight swap for Bale or De Gea + Cash for Ronaldo would clearly be the best deal we can get.
 
Tbh I dont really get the Morata hype either.
Haven't seen him play that much but his strengths aren't exactly glaring.
I presume hes good ... but i just dont really know whats good about him
 
Make them pay the full price so they do set a new transfer world record for a goalkeeper that will stand for more than two decades, while we'll use fraction of it to recruit another talent to fight for the place between sticks with Romero.

I really have no idea. Bale right, Isco through the middle, but that would probably leave us too open.
 
Isco would be great though not exactly needed. Hes just a brilliant player who would improve anyone. Morata would partner griezmann really well but would need another 30mil on top if him for de gea. Varane plus 20m also a good option.
Bale? Obviously quality but always injured. James not needed. Kroos not happening.
 
These player swaps we keep talking about rarely ever happen. Hypothetically, I'd want them to give us Morata and Varane. Those are the two positions we need reinforcements at.

Di maria wouldve worked out with a different manager though. Put him on the wing with fergie or even mourinho in charge and he would have been fine. He just didnt suit Van Gaal.

I struggle to see why we should sell De Gea, so we should just keep him.
He doesn't seem to want the move bad enough to kick up a fuss anyway, going by last time the move was on the table.
Fairly certain he'll stay.

He'd be my last choice out of the possible strikers we can get yeah he had a great season with juve when he was there but for me he isn't what we need not mobile enough when I look at someone like Belotti he ticks all the boxes morata doesn't.
 
I will take the all cash up-front -- it will only reduce their ability to buy more players this summer.
We may be playing against them in the CL at some point why strengthen them.
 
Kovacic is the position (deep midfield) we need to strengthen but not the type - we need a ball-winner. Bale would be great as a RW we have been missing forever- fast, direct, suited to this league.
 
We don't want to sell and the player isn't agitating for a move as far as we know. So set a truly ludicrous fee well north of 100 million quid and see if they are stupid enough to pay it. Best case scenario is that they are scared off.
 
Real-istically speaking, Morata + 25M for De Gea is a very good deal. Morata is a complete striker and I feel he'll prove to be a lot better than Lukaku and Belotti who we've been linked to. It also gets rid of having to chase a new striker to replace Zlatan. We could then focus on getting Griezmann (Assuming he's on Mourinho's list) and get a possible CM and CB. Romero has proven to be a more than capable replacement for De Gea but I really don't want to see Donnarumma go to Man City.

I would take Lukaku and Belotti both before Morata. I would start with Rashford ahead of Morata. High floor, low ceiling player for me. Nobody should pay 50+ million for a player like that.

Bale would be ideal plus Kovacic is a very good player who i would be delighted if he signed also. Real are stacked with good players who in reality would instantly upgrade our team.
 
There is little to no chance of Isco leaving Madrid so I feel its pointless mentioning him.
 
Cold hard cash or Kroos (unlikely) Would not mind Bale, but his injury record is starting to scare me. He has a lot of those muscle injuries since he joined Madrid. Other than those players, not interested in anyone else.
