Dalots contract is up in 2023
Matic summer 2023
Phil Jones summer 2023
Lingard 6 months
Pogba 6 months
Mata 6 months

That would be a start.
Nobody is buying Mata for sure.

Matic? Doubt it, or at least nobody out there will make a sufficiently atractive offer to him (unless we get no money and maybe even subsidise wages).

Phil Jones? Only a lunatic would be at the buying end.

Pogba? He is moving on a free and cashing in himself, not us.

So yeah, we could make a few bob off Lingard and Dalot and buy Haaland's left peg.

Focus is squad trimming and development of a transfer strategy to ensure the Pogba mistake doesn't happen again.

Put a new philosophy in the club and put in charge the right people to implement it.

Win the EPL back from Citeh

Bring in your own assistant maybe one or two more to get you through the 6 months, and move Carrick McKenna back to managing the youth. Implement your style, tactics, and work ethos. Any one who hadnt adapted to it by January put up for sale. Show the squad its your way or the highway.
February onwards start scouting who will best implement and embrace the football ethos you have installed into the club. Neednt be a big name, Potter maybe, a German/Austrian or anywhere else. Pick 5/6 and put in an order 1-6.
After sacking Carrick and his pals, start interviewing end of season who you want to bring in from 1 through to 6. By June have someone signed up, so they have a decent while to get used to Utd, and a plan of attack on incoming/outgoing players and backroom staff who are competent.

Cavani and Ronaldo...Come on. They're two of the most accomplished players in world football - Cavani's issues were availability and that's followed him here. Ronaldo is literally one of the greatest ever and was going to be signed with Ole's approval or not because of what he represents for the club. Really shrewd business...
Can you imagine the club signing someone without SAFs approval because of “what he represented to the club”. You’d see the explosion from the moon. Whether it’s true or not, the new manager has to be the boss. Players have to be signed because of how they improve the team. Jury is still out on that re: Ronaldo.
