Damn! That was fast/unexpected.

Will he be in charge for the next leg of our semi?

Won't get much of a transfer budget there will he?

He’s absolutely free-falling. It’ll be some midtable side in France next.

Why wouldn't you wait an announce this on Friday after they get knocked out?

Seems odd to start his management with getting knocked out of a cup.

He's taken on a tough job there I think.

They have already announced their coach will leave at the end of the season. So it doesn't make any difference.

Also Jose will be manager from next season.

Still getting his contracts from Spurs and United paid off. Signed with the Sun and TalkSport. Now manager of Roma. Hasnt won anything in years, but bet his bank manager cant stop pulling it.

I'm pretty sure its from NEXT SEASON. Not the second leg people. Fonseca is leaving at the end of the season. Not now

He's starting next season.

Didn't want to go to Roma and immediately get knocked out by Ole.

Wow, he's definitely on the slide with regards to management jobs, but interested to see how he does. Hope he does upset the apple cart somewhat over there.

Christ he's desperate now isn't he

Nothing against Roma they're a huge club but as we saw they're utterly rubbish at the moment, gonna take a lot of money to turn them back into.... well anything

How does the man keep getting these good jobs? Living on his past.
His style is probably more appreciated there anyway.

Weirdly I was reading some Roma Forums ( was curious to see how their fans were toward United/Ole ahead of our game against them). A lot of them were sick of the open play Roma deploy, whether it was Spalleti or Ranieri or Fonseca, they were all craving common sense and resilience in the team. I think they might welcome Jose in that regard.

Well I have a nice bridge to sell this man...

I wonder how the potential severance package is looking like

HELLO
Loved seeing him struggle with Spurs but I hope he does well here. A successful Mourinho and Roma is good for the game.

That was quick!

Fairplay to the lad. Still a manager in demand.

Mki will be thrilled I bet.....

Probably the best team he could have possibly got. What a fall from grace though.

It'll be interesting to see how he does because they're a team that's far off any kind of success.
