Does he actually play though? Seems it’s more of a gimmick
Played nearly 200 minutes over 6 appearances last season so seems a emergency backup type but pretty amazing still.
He's there for the emergencies only. He doesn't even scores goals. And also for good PR, since Miura is very respected in Japan.

Looks like Oliveirense were bought by Yokohama's owners and they've decided to send their mascot on tour.
Interestingly, he won't be their only Japanese striker (the other, as you'd expect, being a 6'6" bloke called Randy) or even their only player called Kazu (Brazilian fullback).
He's probably still more mobile and available than Martial.

Interesting guy. I remember him best, apart from his lead role for Japan, from his stint eith Genoa, where he scored in the derby against Sampdoria. Some brita might remeber him because he was close to joining Boutnemouth at a point, but he actually played more games for Palmeiras than Genoa, and also played for Santos.
